Two Pennsylvania Railroad DVDs (Steam in the 1950s and Vignettes Vol 2):
From the 8mm silent films of Lee Avis, shot between Philadelphia and Cape May, and around Atlantic City in the 1950s. This rare footage was edited and professionally transferred to DVD by Main Line Motion Pictures. Features passenger trains, freight trains and some shop and switching footage - including a 0-8-0 tank engine "Reading Locomotive Works Shop Switcher".
Vignettes of the Pennsylvania Railroad Volume 2
Featuring the color and black&white photography of veteran railfans Charlie Bealer, CHarles W. Houser Sr., and Bruce Kantner. Released in 2005 by Clear Block Productions, this DVD is 53 minutes with narration (can be turned off). Covers the 'P' Company in its namesake state from the years 1952-1967.
